The Octogon International
The Octogon is a one of a kind battle concept. It´s made up by BBoy Alien Ness, a respected veteran in the worldwide BBoy scene and leader of the Zulu Kings. The Zulu Kings are the BBoy branch within the Zulu Nation which is the first and biggest Hip Hop organisation in the world and founded by DJ Afrika Bambaataa.
In The Octogon dancers get a change to test their dance skills within a restricted 2,5m perimiter marked by 8 little cones and a ribbon. This is the Octogon.
Touch the ribbon or the cones and your game is over.

Footwork Battle
The IBE Footwork Battle is becoming a true tradition. The first footwork took place in IBE 2001 and has been a part of IBE ever since. Ken Swift once said that Footwork can be considered as a unique aspect of BBoying because this style of dance and movements can only be found in BBoying.

The Footwork Battle in IBE is one of the most international footwork battles in the world.
