European Crew Qualification
European crew eliminationFor the first time BBoy crews from all over Europe can qualify for the Sony Ericsson UK BBoy Championships - World Finals in London. This 2 day event is one of the worlds greatest BBoy events and features a crew battle, solo bboy battle, solo popping Battle and a 2 on 2 Locking competition. Also IBE will host it's own room and present the UK audience a Footwork and Seven2smoke Battle. This year there are eliminations in Scandinavia, Russia, Korea, Japan, USA and the UK.
This battle was introduced is a true fun competition but still in every edition of IBE people are struggling like crazy to win of the Longest BBoy Move categories.
The rules are simple. You start out with a bunch of people and see who can maintain doing a BBoy move the longest. Some of the most popular categories are One Hand Hops, Flares, Air Flares and Headspins.

Powermove Battle
One of the most spectacular competitions in IBE is the Powermove Battle. Only the strongest and most athletic BBoys dare to step up and demonstrate their skill in the IBE powermove battle. Without the help of any machine or device you'll see that people can actually fly.

Seven2Smoke 2008
In 2002 dancers from Rotterdam crews Got Skillz and 010 BBoys made up a new battle concept at their weekly practise session. They called it Seven2Smoke and it was first introduced at IBE 2003.
Years later Seven2smoke battles are being organised all over the world. Most promoters follow the basic rules some change the concept. But each year at IBE, seven2smoke comes back to its original birth place. The ultimate seven2smoke victory is a seven2smoke victory at IBE.

Stand Up Dance Final
This competition is all about who is the real King of the dancefloor. Every dance style, every technique is allowed. There's one rule NO Breakdance and acrobatic moves. All dancing is been done in stand up position.
The DJ will play a certain song, your job is to dance to it in the best way you can. The music can be anything from Madonna to James Brown and from R&B to Hip Hop. The dancer who makes the most impression on the judges and the crowd is the winner.
