Popping demands precision, body control, and musicality, but it also challenges dancers to be creative and develop their own unique style. For decades, popping has had a profound global impact. It unites dancers across generations and continents, from the OG pioneers who shaped the style, to today’s new voices who are reimagining it.

At IBE, we champion this intergenerational exchange. Our platform offers space for dancers to share knowledge and stories across cultures. The festival honors the legacy of popping while pushing its future forward. Through battles, workshops, and community sessions, we celebrate the dancers who keep the culture alive — and those who take it somewhere new.
